Minky is 9 months and 2 weeks and is also engaging in aerobic breastfeeding, particularly in the morning. She'll finish her feed, have a loon around the bed and then attempt to mountaineer up me and have a cheeky feed. If I'm a bit slow swopping her between breasts she'll grab the fresh one and try and bend it round into her mouth. It doesn't really bend that way!

My how I look forward to these circus feeding acts in a few months. The Baba's favourite is to pop on and off and grin at me inbetween. Not a good look in public if she has also renched my top up with a spare hand!!

Ahaaa! At 8m I think Angelcake is at the stage in between...she has moved on from grinning / pulling top up with spare hand to bobbing on and off to have a good look around and watch what everyone else is up to. First thing in the morning is exciting - I am still half asleep and lying down, so she rolls around on the bed between me and her dad, then climbs / drags herself back for another quick gulp. She can't crawl, so breasts get pulled towards her as much as she gets pulled towards them! It's becoming quite a rude awakening for me!!

Poor old Minky got yelled out very loudly for testing her new tooth on my nipple. Consistently shouting at her stopped it happening within a couple of days. She only bites now if she is sleepy or distracted.

Yes - the Pickle (FF from 2 months) used to drain a bottle in approximately 10-15 mins. Nowadays it's more like 45 mins to an hour with some interesting positions thrown in - she currently favours an upside down sideways approach which I'm sure isn't great for digestion and certainly isn't good for my clothing which soaks up the dribbles beautifully.

Still it does mean I have an excuse to sit down for an hour and watch a bit of sneaky TV (hhhhmmmm maybe that has something to do with the upside down sideways position??!!)

Likewise, Morv, Miss B now refuses to recline even a fraction of a degree in order to take her bottle, preferring to stand up and drink like a baby goat at a petting zoo...
