Hello there, i'm new here, although i've been reading for weeks. My little boy Harry is 4 months and exclu BF... at 6 months we'll begin our BLW journey, i'm so glad to have found this site and you have a message forum!! BUT.....

I'm trying and trying to register, but after numerous requests i'm yet to receive an e-mail so that i can activate my account :o(

Can anyone help? I've e-mailed the 'tech', i found that address on one of the 'introduce yourself' threads.

Think i may have to give up trying to join the forum. Its such a shame as it would be so helpful to me.

Starting to get withdrawal symptoms. Damn servers and other technical things that I don't understand in the slightest...can't even remember my log in details as I'm always logged in!

Lol. As if I have to post my news on here.... BUT, Littlepixie took his first steps yesterday! woohoo. He's 1 tomorrow, so I'm really happy that he did it just in time for his birthday! Yay.

YAY! So was that the big news from yesterday?

Yay for littlepixie! It's so exciting but terrifying in the same moment isn't it. My heart was permanently in my mouth for a few weeks while my LO found his feet. I was seriously tempted to tape a few bags of cotton wool to his head :D

Well that was part of my news. The good part, anyway. The not so good news is that littlepixie has to have an operation in 3 weeks time. It's nothing serious, but needless to say, I'm dreading it :( Just wanted some advice about AP'ing in hospital etc... but that'll all have to wait til the forum is up and running again!

Hi DP I can't reply to your post for some reason but...


re-APing in hospital. I an only give you advice about BFing. Check out the NICE guidelines (sorry I'm away at the mo and don't have all my bookmarked pages) and argue for a private room where you can room in with LP. Even if you're only feeding once in 24 hours you're still BF and it's worth pushing hom the point without drawing attention to how frequently you feed. If you're still feeding a lot in the day it's worth talking about when you feed and whether you'd rather feed whilst he's being examined etc. Even though he's only 1 I'd still explain things to him. And I'd make sure YOU have as much support as possible.

And YAY on the steps. Isaac's taken 1 step and 2 steps a week ago and then nothing since lol.

Ok, its back again in a form that works....unfortunately anything you posted since the 21st July has blown up along with the server.

Also....anyone that registered after the 21st July will need to register again as you have also blown up. If you find yourself still in one piece then you are a temporal anomaly. God will be along shortly to rectify this (or the Large Hadron Collider which is about to supercede God)
