I too have an ancient packet of organic baby rice that Iwas given by a friend whose child progressed so quickly from purees to finger food that she never quite got round to using it. I now consider it a talisman of Baby Led Weaning, sitting on the shelf unused. Perhaps one day I might pass it on to another bright-eyed mother, that she may use it to fool her husband and immediate in-laws into thinking that she intends to use it...
