You're probably right about the adjusting thing, ours is very basic. But then Baby A is so very inclined to lob foodstuffs around the room that I wouldn't dare put her near our faun-coloured sofa. Which, when we bought it THREE years ago, my mother warned me about. For as long as I can remember my mum has counselled me against buying anything pale 'in case a baby comes along...' and now, frustratingly, she is being proved right. It's everything wipe-clean for us from now on...
