We've got the Tchibo wooden adjustable chair - no tray - basically a much less stylish rip-off of the Tripp Trapp at a fifth of the price! Works fine for us so far, although now I'm looking for a folding booster with a tray for holiday trips. Re HV and car seat prescription; the more I hear about other people's health visitors (especially that jawdropping comment about purees expanding the stomach) the more I realise I'm really rather lucky to have one whose answer to everything is "do what works for you".
