Actually, other than the salt, it really is a great snack. The lemon juice has vitamin C in it, and the avocado, though high in fat, is high in the *good* fat..the Omega 3 kind. So it's actually a *prevention* of a heart attack waiting to happen. Eat up and enjoy!
For those wanting to venture beyond the lemon juice and salt, throw in some chopped sundried or roma tomato, a dash of anchovy paste (optional), some garlic, and a touch of chopped jalapeno (with seeds if you REALLY want a burn) and you've got a lovely guacamole. Great on chips, rice cakes, fingers, etc.. All ingredients of any good guacamole are added strictly 'to taste'.
And even with all that stuff added, still a very healthy snack.
