Karel and Madelief had a whole avocado between them today, and they loved it. I just slice it into 8 parts and leave the skin on (of course I wash it first). Makes it easier for them to hold onto and they can't eat any of the skin anyway, so the ground underneath the high chairs is littered with clean avocado skins. And it is imporant to have them just ripe enough.
