Hi Alison, we started the baby led weaning process in the summer and I offered Boomer something to try when I was eating. So if we were having lunch out I gave her some bits of salad, or in the house we would often share a piece of fruit (much like you've been doing). I didn't intentionally offer only one thing at a time but generally it was just the one thing that was suitable for her i.e. if we were having meat and mange tout she would get a mange tout to wave about. She is now 11mths and a bit and generally eats what we eat. I personally found that it was easiest to just do things on a day to day basis athough it helps if you plan to have instant blw friendly things in the fridge and your cupboards i.e. rice cakes, bananas, carrots. By the way you will find that bananas become the overall super food as they are easy to eat , easy to stick in a bag and prett much a winner every time - although a real stainer! Don't worry if LittleE doesn't seem bothered about eating. I would say that Boomer has really only just begun to have an appetite - and she will be one soon - so the process does take a full 6mths.
