Wow - well within the space of a week, LittleE has enjoyed rice cakes with hummus, toast with hummus, apple, pear, banana, banana porridge, chips.......and she is quite proficient at using a spoon, which seems really amazing. I guess she is copying us as we try to eat together!! Her first attempt at porridge was interesting - she gave up with the spoon and put her face straight into the bowl and when she couldn't reach it, smeared it over the high chair tray with her hands then licked it off. Shes nothing if not resourceful!! We are enjoying this weaning lark so far, despite the fact that MIL is convinced she is liable to choke to death!! Will keep you posted.....
