funnily enough, i managed to get hold of my first-ever bag of soya beans the other day and made the mistake of using them just like peas and not cooking them. (Normally that's how I get the pasta and pesto to cool down, see?) Anyway, raw soya beans are pretty yuck it turns out. Had some cooked one later and they were brilliant.
