Firstly let me say I agree with Aitch about the Cox being the best apple around, but for such a short time though... Anyway my little bundle just loves apples and I think they are great for teething as well. He eats apple wedges and also chews on whole apples (this is another great thing about Cox's as they are so small) and the whole apples keep him entertained for quite a while normally. I have tried grating them when he was younger, but he never showed any interest then..
