Re: Frozen peas, my love affair continues...

I gather that it's somewhat of a tradition here in the mid-western US...desperate moms trying to get nutrition into willful toddlers have mixed frozen peas into *anything* the young'un'll eat (mashed potatoes, rice, pudding...you name it). Mine's five months, though, so I've no experience with the practice..just keeping it tucked away for a rainy (fussy) day. Personally, I can't STAND peas in just about any form (except fresh spring peas straight from the garden that you have to shell and all....oh, yum)...but I'm certainly more than willing to let my little pequena sort out her own preferences. Great blog! Thanks for all the wonderful info!! (and I'm really enjoying the slang from the other side of the pond...makes it even funnier reading for me..)
