Moomin, your situation actually sounds very similar, I suppose I have been quite emotional about it but as I've been ill and sore it has all been mixed up. Phsically I think I just reached my end too, not just the topical sores but the whole drained feeling. I have been tempted to restart as now my boobs are healed but I do think it was the right time to stop. I had pretty much stopped the day time feeds before christmas (for similar reasons to you). I tried to stop breastfeeding her automatically if she woke during the night or had trouble falling asleep.
