Stopping breastfeeding...
by jmper
Hi Moomin, not sure I can give you much advice but perhaps a bit of support... my lo is 15 mths now and I am still Bf-ing when I get home from work (6ish) at bedtime, and during the night. I too have no idea how to stop. Like you, I would love to be able to go out in the evening but at the moment it seems impossible. I b/f during the night because this is the fastest way to get him back to sleep. I work full time now (daddy is the main carer) and I can't afford to be up for half the night getting him back to sleep any other way. I know I have probably introduced all sorts of bad sleeping habits, i.e he can't go to sleep w/o a feed, but now it's done, how can I move away from it? So you're not the only one in this situation... if anyone does find anything on Mumsnet, can you let us know? (Sorry, but when at work do not get enough time to check out all the helpful sites..)
