Hi, I'm new..
I don't know if this is the same as baby food intolerances, but if your baby isn't good with lactose, butter is easier to digest than cheese & much more easy to digest than milk.
Basically - lactose is a protein in milk that gets broken down when it's processed in some way. The most effective way of breaking it down is yoghurt because of the number of (good) bacteria involved, but making milk into cheese or cooking it also make it easier to digest. Also, apparantly the lactose doesn't live in the milk fat, so the more fat, the easier to digest. Since butter is essentiall solid fat.. very unlikely to upset lactose intolerant tummies.
