Re: Allergies Thread - Advice from mums of allergicky babes
by Anonymous
The Food Standards Agency's take on intolerance vs allergy is here: http://www.eatwell.gov.uk/healthissues/foodintolerance/ although I'm not sure how much clearer that makes it! My dd vomits, has diarrhoea, and we think has stomach cramps that make her scream and cry and be irritable, but we class this as an intolerance rather than an allergy. I've been totally dairy free for 10 months now, since we got the diagnosis, and you do get used to it. Moomin - where do I find the order to re-introduce dairy? I was going to ask on MN, as other than yoghurt being first, I can't remember what you're supposed to do, and I want to start trying dd with a little.
