The rules in our house are: 3 strikes and you are out. You get three different tastes - bin them all and the meal is over. Never will all 3 be fruit. (I usually offer 1 carbohydrate, 1 veg, 1 fruit). I try to make sure that one of the 3 is from the firm favourites list - especially if there is a new foodstuff on the menu. Then if she bins that, I know she's not bovvered. The exception to the rule: If I think she's sickening or had very light meals for a while, I'll resort to the big guns and give the 3P's. I try to be much more relaxed if she turns up her nose or justs has a few bites. I used to be convinced that she'd wake in the night or melt down in a public place but so far, she's been fine.
