Re: Snacks?
by carrie
I sort of follow the same routine as you - DS of a similar age (still BF) and learning the art of burying his hands in his hand woe is me routine too!!! 8ish breakfast 12-12.30ish lunch 4-4.30ish dinner 6.30 readybrek top up if he wants it - and he seems too - how does he fit it all in?? 7.30 asleep and wine for mommy - yeah! I try not to give big snacks inbetween meals but have recently noticed his appetite increase and if food isn't ready at said time little dramas are occuring. I have to hand rice cakes, small piece of fruit, raisins, a lump of cheese or a cheeky organix animal biscuit - just small enough! I was a bit concerned that if I gave him too big a snack he would not eat said meal. I wonder whether increasing the meal portions or what is on offer at meal times may resolve this - any thoughts.
