Re: Salt - how much do we care?

I'm in the Chilled-and-Relaxed-About-Salt camp too. Most of her food is freshly prepared by the loving hands of her mother (hmm.. perhaps Dad needs to get in on the act) so none of that stuff gets salt bunged into it. On the ready-made food front its Weetabix, Cheerios, houmous, bread, rice cakes, bread sticks - most of which are either salt-free or she has such small quantities that I can live with it. I think there's more danger if we were the kind of family that lived off ready-meals and were sharing those with her. But, frankly, we can't afford ready meals anymore since my salary stopped and (whisper it) I do actually quite enjoy cooking.
