Gosh - that info about histamine in toms is really interesting! Angelcake loves them - they are one of the few reliable veg-type things she will eat, and she used to get quite red around her mouth and on her arms and the backs of her hands when eating them. I assumed it was because the acidic juice irritated sensitive / delicate skin, which I suppose it does, but now I know why!
