Dropping centiles?
by Aitch
Hello there tezluelle, sorry i didn't see this earlier. to be honest i'm not very au fait with centiles because as i've mentioned before i didn't get my daughter weighed, but i did observe that she stretched and consolidated, stretched and consolidated, so i reckon she'd have been up and down the centiles. but 200g means nothing to me, i'm afraid, i just don't know what it means. remember that the main source of nutrition is milk at this stage (so i personally wouldn't be rushing to cut back on it if you can help it). for me, if the baby was healthy, alert, moving around etc etc then i wouldn't worry, especially if she's started crawling recently and is expending more energy. on the other hand, if instinct tells you something is awry i wouldn't ignore it, if you know what i mean. do you think anything is wrong, really?
