Did you feel they needed to be soft, Aitch, or did BabyBear turn her delicate little nose up until you discovered the appropriate consistency? I ask cos IzzyMouse, 13 months, has her upper two pre molars coming through, and a 3rd imminent, and her chewing ability has already increased noticeably but her inclination to tackle crunchy stuff hasn't kept up.
