Re: BLW Fast Foods
by Quokka
Love this thread, thanks Aitch! We're still early days on BLW but Fidget so far loves the cheesy pittas and anything dipped in hummus. We tend to do a little picnic stlye lunch with pitta fingers, hummus, carrot, cucumber, cherry toms, cheese etc followed by a piece of fruit. However Fidget has toast and banana for breakfast and I'm a bit concerned that he seems to be eatin g a lot of bread and not so much veg. He doesn't yet do dinner as not interested at that time so I'm keen to hear of other quick ideas for lunchtimes. Also - quick question (that may be answered elsewhere) but at what age did you start on tuna mayo and eggs (omlette)? Hubby would survive on tuna mayo (though personally I think tuna looks and smells like cat food!) but I know fish is good for Fidget and it would be another easy sandwich filler. Off to put some birds eye steam veg on my shopping list.... Quokka
