My tip would be to dish up baby's food first and leave it to cool (or in the fridge) while you dish up everyone else's so that it is ready for them to eat at the same time and no tantrums cause "mummy has food and I don't!" Also, if you are having mashed potato, put it on a plate of its own, spread it thinly and criss cross it so that the air can get around it, it cools really quickly like this.
