I just wanted to mention that where I am, eating with our fingers is the norm! But right hand, of course.. although ds has shown a left-hand tendency.. phew. But he feeds himself quite well with a loaded spoon, atlhough there are times he just wants to use his fingers.. I do wonder when he'll get the hang of cutlery.. it is normal practice here that babies get spoonfed, all the way to toddlerhood..
