Re: Re: Re: Fibernie's Guide To Meal Planning (so that we stop giving all of our money to supermarkets and Get Organised)
by Aarons Mam
I meal plan (mainly in a depserate attempt to stop going to the supermarket on a daily basis and to vary my diet beyond the four staple meals i could be bothered making). All i do is sit down at the weekend, write down what meals we will have the next week then write a shopping list from that, making sure i also top up any staples that are running low - pasta, tinned tomatoes, lentils, etc. I usually end up swapping things around and eating them on different days depending on my humour but it helps with that horrible 'what will i make for lunch?' feeling, that was regularly followed by the 'what the hell will i make for tea?' feeling that was starting to really get to me. From reading Fibernies guide i did wonder why it has never occured to me to do this on a Wed night after i get my veg box instead of doing it at the weekend.
